This is one of the side dishes that was served in my husband’s home when he was a child.

Ingredients
  • 2 cans cream style corn
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup saltine crackers crushed

  • 2 cans cream style corn
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup saltine crackers crushed
Instructions
  1. Mix together all ingredients, except 1/2 cup crushed saltines.
  2. Place in a baking dish. Sprinkle crushed saltines on top.
  3. Bake at 350 for 1-1/2 hours or until top is lightly browned.
